The Mere Brow Local History Society was formed in January 1990 and it was decided to try to record some of the memories, history, culture, and some of the traditions of Mere Brow village. In August 1990 a book was published with many people from the village contributing in some way. With full permission, this web based transcript contains selected extracts from this publication.
